In partnership with the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association, Nashville Rollergirls announced today that they will host the 2014 WFTDA Championships October 31 – November 2, 2014 at Nashville Municipal Auditorium. The 2014 WFTDA Championships are the final of seven women’s roller derby tournaments being held in the United States and Canada in 2014. Read more
The WFTDA Division 1 and Division 2 Playoffs and Championships bring together the most talented women’s roller derby teams and athletes in the world to compete for the sport’s top honor – a WFTDA Championship.
Athletes, officials, support staff and fans will come from all over the world to be a part of the premiere roller derby events of the year. Each Playoff tournament will include 10 teams. Championships will include the 12 Division 1 teams and four Division 2 teams that advance from their respective Playoffs.

Division 2 – Aug. 15-17 – Duluth, Minnesota, USA. Hosted by Harbor City Roller Dames.
Division 2 – Aug. 22-24 – Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Hosted by Tri-City Roller Girls.
Division 1 – Sept. 5-7 – Sacramento, California, USA. Hosted by Sacred City Derby Girls.
Division 1 – Sept. 12-14 – Lincoln, Nebraska, USA. Hosted by No Coast Derby Girls.
Division 1 – Sept. 19-21 – Evansville, Indiana, USA. Hosted by Demolition City Roller Derby.
Division 1 – Oct. 3-5 – Charleston, West Virginia, USA. Hosted by Chemical Valley Rollergirls.
Championships – Oct. 31 – Nov. 2 – Nashville, Tennessee, USA. Hosted by Nashville Rollergirls.

Sunday, September 8th the Nashville Junior Roller Derby and the Nashville Rollergirls will play games at the Tennessee State Fair
The Nashville Rollergirls are returning to their roots at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds along with the Nashville Junior Roller Derby for an exciting exhibition bout during the 2013 Tennessee State Fair! Come cheer on your favorite skaters, old and new, as they battle it out on the track intraleague style to close out a great 2013 home season.

Your Nashville Rollergirls are back and working harder than ever to get ready for the 2013 season! We have a lot of great things planned for 2013, including a full six-game home season at Municipal Auditorium and an exciting pre-season game at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds on February 16! Season tickets are still available and include admission to all seven of these events, plus NRG goodies and VIP treatment.
Preseason: Come join us for our first appearance of the year, a preseason bout at our old stomping grounds, the Tennessee State Fairgrounds! This will be a double header featuring one NRG intraleague bout at 6:30pm and NRG v. Vette City at 8:30pm. This is your chance to see your favorite rollergirls in action as well as get a sneak peek at some of NRG's newest talent! Roller derby will be back in Nashville in less than two months! Nashville Rollergirls will host our second annual scrimmage-a-thon, followed by the first bout of 2014, a preseason doubleheader at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds on February 1, 2014! Skaters from other leagues are invited to join us for a full day of co-ed scrimmages coached by NRG All Stars and Coaches. The preseason doubleheader that evening will included the debut of some of NRG's newest talent!

The first annual Nashville Rollergirls Scrimmage-a-thon was a smashing success! 60 skaters, representing more than 15 leagues in the southeast, showed up for a day full of scrimmaging, rules clinics and fun. Check out the photos and videos below to see what you missed.

NRG entered this year's tournament as the 7th seed, and fought hard in four games to defend that spot and leave the tournament in 7th place! The latest September 30 WFTDA rankings release places Nashville at #33 out of all teams worldwide.

This Saturday, May 11, your Nashville Rollergirls host the DC Rollergirls for a double-header event at Municipal Auditorium.
The first bout starts at 5:30pm with the Music City Brawl Stars taking on DC's National Maulers. Immediately following the Brawl Star bout, the Music City All Stars will battle it out against the DC Rollergirls All-Stars. Doors open at 4:30pm. Come on out and help cheer on your favorite Nashville Rollergirls to victory!
The first bout starts at 5:30pm with the Music City Brawl Stars facing off against the Tallahassee Jailbreak Betties. Immediately following the Brawl Star bout, the Music City All Stars will take on the Tallahassee Rollergirls Capital Punishment in a rematch of their 2010 meeting. Doors open at 4:30pm. Come on out and cheer on your favorite Nashville Rollergirls to victory!
The first bout starts at 5:30pm with the Music City Brawl Stars facing off against the Miss B-Havers. Immediately following the Brawl Star bout, the Music City All Stars will take on the Columbia QuadSquad All Stars in what should be a great match-up based on their recent performances at the 2013 East Coast Derby Extravaganza. Doors open at 4:30pm. Come on out and cheer on your favorite Nashville Rollergirls to victory!
The first bout starts at 5:30pm with the Music City Brawl Stars facing off against the Bruising Altitude. Immediately following the Brawl Star bout, the Music City All Stars will take on the Gainesville Roller Rebels continuing to face off against Florida teams. Doors open at 4:30pm. The Music City Brawl Stars are traveling to Bloomington, IN the weekend of February 9-10 to participate in the third annual B-Cup Tournament, hosted by the Bleeding Heartland Rollergirls. The tournament will be streamed live courtesy of Derby News Network, so be sure to tune in here to watch the 2013 Brawl Stars fight their way to victory! The Brawls' first game of the weekend is against the Naptown Rollergirls Warning Belles and will take place Saturday, February 9 at 11:30am CST, with further games TBD as they advance through the tournament bracket.

The Music City Brawl Stars start off with the first bout at 5:30pm by facing off against the Violent Lambs. Immediately following, the Music City All Stars will take on the Cincinnati Rollergirls Black Sheep in a rematch of their 2010 meeting in Cincinnati, but this time on Nashville's turf. Your Nashville Rollergirls will take on the Atlanta Rollergirls for the 8th time in WFTDA sanctioned play. Last year, the Music City All Stars faced Atlanta's Dirty South Derby Girls for the seventh time in a tie-breaking grudge match. Nashville triumphed over Atlanta to bring the win-loss score between the two teams to 4:3 in favor of Nashville. Will Atlanta take the win to even the score or will Nashville emerge victorious again?!
Come on out to Municipal Auditorium on Saturday, April 13th, 2013, to find out!!! At 5:30pm, the Music City Brawl Stars will take on Atlanta's Rumble Bs. And then, at 7:15pm, the Music City All Stars will face Atlanta's Dirty South Derby Girls. Doors open at 4:30pm.
